192 Dornoch Terrace Highgate Hill Brisbane bus service being 'deleted'

Well is it official that the 192 bus service is being deleted? If so, as a result, around 27 streets in it's catchment area will not be serviced bridging from Gladstone Street along Dornoch Terrace to Hill End.

Do they realise that Dornoch Terrace is a ridgeline and that the walk up the hill and walk to another half a kilometre to a bus stop. And what of the $300,000 installation of the right hand lane to Eleanor Schonell Bridge?

Why don't they have a bus service that loops from the West End ferry to the University? Surely this could then go to Buranda Station and back?

To say that there are going to be some minor tweaking needed to get it right, so why has it not been done correctly the first time?
